LGH Hosts Pediatric Ventilation Training Workshop
Lahore General Hospital (LGH) held a specialized training workshop on pediatric ventilation and the management of critically ill children to strengthen pediatric critical care services.
Medical Superintendent Prof. Dr. Faryad Hussain said there is an urgent need to improve the professional skills of young doctors so they can provide modern medical care to children. He said regular training workshops are essential for raising the standard of pediatric treatment.
The workshop was organized by the Pediatric Critical Care team and attended by senior faculty members and young doctors, including Prof. Muhammad Shahid, Prof. Hassan Suleman and other experts.
Medical experts said the training would help align clinical practice with the latest medical research and modern technology. The sessions focused on advanced ventilation strategies in Pediatric Intensive Care Units, new technologies for respiratory support and evidence based practices aimed at saving young lives.
Participants appreciated the initiative and said hands on training programs are important for sharpening the skills of young doctors, ensuring patient safety and improving the overall standard of pediatric care. They also reaffirmed their commitment to continued learning and collaboration for high quality healthcare for children.
