Youth Climate Action Highlights at PRCS Red Talk

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Branch recently hosted a Red Talk session to emphasize the critical role of youth in addressing climate change. The event, organized by the Youth & Volunteers Department at the Provincial Headquarters, brought together young volunteers and climate advocates to discuss strategies for community-driven climate action.

Notable speakers at the session included Noor-ul-Ain and Aizaz Ahmad, a COP29 delegate and active youth climate advocate. Both shared their experiences and encouraged participants to take a leading role in initiating and implementing climate-related projects within their communities.

To honor the commitment and hard work of the volunteers, the PRCS Vice Chairman presented certificates of appreciation. The gesture highlighted the organization’s acknowledgment of the valuable efforts made by young volunteers in promoting environmental awareness and action. The event concluded with a renewed sense of purpose among attendees to advance climate action at the grassroots level.
