A trailer fire near Chakri was brought under control after the National Highways and Motorway Police responded quickly to the emergency and extinguished the flames on the spot.
According to the Motorway Police spokesperson, the vehicle was travelling from Islamabad to Faisalabad when the fire broke out. The timely response of the patrol teams helped prevent the situation from turning into a larger incident.
Officials said the rapid action of the Motorway Police reduced the risk of serious damage and helped avoid a possible loss of life and property. The incident was contained before it could spread further on the busy highway.
The spokesperson added that the prompt handling of the trailer fire reflected the readiness of the Motorway Police to deal with roadside emergencies and protect travellers on national routes.
