Ms. Ayesha Raza Farooq welcomed the financial assistance provided through AFD and said the ambassador’s visit gave a clear boost to field teams engaged in polio eradication.

Officials present included Dr. Luo Dapeng, WHO Country Representative, Dr. Soghaier, WHO Team Lead in Pakistan, and senior figures such as the Director General of Health Services at CDA/MCI, all of whom accompanied the launch activities at the dispensary.

Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister’s Focal Person on Polio Eradication expressed confidence that, Insha’Allah, Pakistan will soon reach a polio-free status and highlighted the importance of sustained international partnership and community-level outreach to achieve that goal.
